Knackard 256mm rear calipers

Featured Replies

Carn't you just drill a hole in each bracket to fit the springs into

Considering the brackets with the rubber bushes cost in excess of £80 I'd rather not!

instead of the wire goping in the predrilled slot in the old holder, you wedge it down and around hte material near the rubber balance weight. It cannot get out that way then

I've tried fitting the springs while retaining the rubber bushes, couldn't seem to get it to work without bending the springs excessively.

I think I'll just source some replacement standard brackets from a 232mm set-up. Probably worth a try!?

Failing that I'll just bin the rubber bushes and drill a hole for the springs.

Thanks for the help.
