I’ve had this excellent TSi 220 vRS for just a touch over two years now. Photos just after new front tyres and mudflats fitted. Just been serviced and washed. 37900 Miles, Interim Service £159 and DSG Service still to do. Full valet and alloy wheel x 2 repair next month.

I put a deposit on the Octavia vRS Estate today, hopefully picking it up next weekend once they have serviced (40k DSG service already carried out), mot'd, buffed/ polished a couple of marks out and refurbished all four wheels (not that they were particularly bad, but both passenger side wheels had some curbing damage and the lacquer looks like it was started to peel on both drivers side wheels).

 

Spec as follows;

Octavia 2.0 tsi, DSG, Black Magic. Odd choices made by the previous owner, heated seats and mirrors but not the windscreen (I'd have chosen the screen over the mirrors)

Thanks! I used to be semi-pro and did a few shoots for a couple of mags and then mostly private work but the full-time job got busier, so this fell by the wayside and I never really found an opportunity (what with two children as well) to claw back some time.

You are right! I forgot they went to LED, I’d been looking at second hand ones with the xenons, only the fact I got a ridiculous deal on this I went new.

Take it to AmD in Essex and they will transform it for £500 with a custom re-map. Took my 63 plate 2.0Tdi SE to them in 2014 and it went from 147 to 186bhp and torque from 246 to 319lb/ft. Economy barely affected 71mpg before and 70mpg after. Well worth it and top speed up from 135 to 150mpg. PROPER SLEEPER!
