The spec seems interesting too.

The sporty, black interior of the front doors is newly equipped with integrated ambient lighting for the internal door handles. There are newly developed RS-design sports seats for the driver and passenger and a sporty 3-spoke steering wheel with perforated leather is fitted as standard. The gear stick and handbrake are also of leather. The sill plates and pedals are made of stainless steel. The instrument panel with a rich-colour Maxi DOT display has its own unique RS design. The Steering wheel, gear stick, door sill panels, seats and floor mats all sport the RS logo.

The designers have created four new wheel designs - 17 inch ‘Dorado’, 18 inch ‘Gemini’ (in silver or anthracite), ‘Pictoris’ and 19 inch ‘Xtrem’ light alloys (in black). The rear is dominated in the lower section by a strong black diffuser element and the overlying wide reflector spotlight. These elements are also distinctive features of the new Octavia RS just like the two large, trapezoidal-shaped chrome exhaust tailpipes. And we have not forgotten about the spoiler, which, on the Combi RS, is fitted as a roof-edge spoiler.

  • ?Adaptive Cruise Assistant
  • Intelligent Light Assistant
  • Automatic Parking Assistant
  • The road sign detection in the ‘Traveller Assistant’ package
  • KESSY - Keyless-Entry-Start-and-Exit-System
  • electric panoramic sunroof
  • new generation of infotainment radio and navigation systems
  • CANTON Sound System

Standard Sunroof and Canton would suit me very nicely, and you can *just* see the sunroof in the pics.

And another!

Looks good. Only downside now can be SUK messing up the spec.

V nice indeed, potential Blackline replacement if the price is right in 18 months/2 years time.

Id bet alot of the mentioned equipment will be optional though.....does sound like it'll come with bi-xenons at least due to the DRLs now being fog/cornering lights.

Oh Christ, that's my plans up in the air again!

I wanted an Elegance 4x4 but that looks SWEEEET!!! :) Especially love those wheels - hope we get them here. Estate body with the hatchback alloys for me! :) Also, good to read that the VRS combi gets a factory roof spoiler at last!!

Im guessing that the info above isn't specifically related to the UK car, equipment wise?

Looks nice from the front/side. Although it all looks a bit "cheap" to me.

Other than that I like it. :giggle:

Looks good.

I did know that Skoda would be releasing pics today but thought they may have just been snap shots of parts of the car not the whole thing.

I want the white combi with those wheels, that will do me nicely

Yeah, that white estate looks really nice actually. I've not considered an estate until now in all honesty, but I'm really impressed by that,

Any pics of the other wheels, those are hideous?

I really like the wheels in those promo shots!

Together with all the black trimmings, this car is going to look so sweet in Sprint Yellow.

Now it's a case of waiting for a while and seeing if some significant discounts get thrown at it!

I totally agree.

I'd always thought I'd be likely to go for a race blue hatch but the white estate is great.

got to say I really like that, if they get a bit of discount sorted out and the deal stacks I could jump ship! any interior pics yet

also, those look like different (bigger) brakes!

Looks great! If only I could afford one

It does remind me of the VXR8 quite a bit though.

Thats exactly what I thought of when I saw it! Probably down to the angle and position of the fogs but thats what jumped into my head also. :)

Its the steroid injection the Octavia needed IMO, not been spoilt with anything particularly garish or distasteful....have to say though I think the Combi is the better looking car overall; rear end definitely less awkward and its rear spoiler arrangement more subtle. Not a bigbfan of race blue myself but have to say it looks very nice on the vRS 3

I agree, in blue with black grill looks a little cheap to me, I feel a nice metallic grey estate woill suit me

Well.... it is nice, would be nice to see what the seats and steeringwheel are like.....

That's my next car up in the air again I was going to change the Elegance for a scout......but the vRS estate looks the part :)

I didn't think the new Vrs was going to be available in race blue, what's the new signature colour so?

From the pictures I would say Blue Race for the Hatch and White something for the Combi
