Can't decide what to put in my butty box for tomorrow? Either a gammon filled baguette or egg and water cress on wholemeal bread?

The canteen will be open but can't do with the big que and extortionate prices lol.

I have a Jack, some tools, oil, coolant, torque wench, sockets, screwdrivers and VCDS.  So I think we have it covered.

 

 Thanks Richard, I am sure we will have a good day, sorry you won't be there. However, there has been a development, Liam (my son) is going to scive off school and join us, so two drivers in the Golf, not sure yet if this is a good or bad thing  :wonder:

 

 I have also printed off all the correspondence with Javelin, RE the garages and instructor as I haven't heard anything from Colin at Javelin confirming what he offered

Just finished changing the fluid and swapping wheels around. Why do I leave things to the last minute lol

Jacks in as is an axle stand so we're defo sorted on that front also got a cheap ass pump, oil, water, brake fluid.

Think it'll be around 8ish for me.

good to meet some of you guys today - hope you enjoyed the day -

Fantastic day at Oulton Park, really good to meet up with you all, some old acquaintances and some new.

 

 I can report there were no major issues, the Mongrel has a bit of boost trouble but Jason is driving home. Pasty lost a wheel locking nut key and the AA were called to a rear calliper issue, which they bodged so they could home and we had some trouble with the ESP on the Golf, it wanted to slow things down even when it was turned off, so after a bit of fuse finding we pulled the fuse for ABS, went back out and the car was a different thing altogether, much quicker in the corners, lifting a wheel and sliding quite nicely, so a recode of ESP is in order, we also have an engine management light on which is lambda sensor related, this will be sorted though.
