how do i remove the ABS sensor (fabia vrs 53)

Featured Replies

Hi all

I have recently changed the front right wheel bearing on my 53 plate vrs, it seems i have broken the ABS sensor while i was in the process of doing it. Ive had a quick look online but couldnt find anything to say exactly how to get the sensor out, ive had a play around with it on the car, i took the bolt out of it but it still felt like it was stuck in well and i diddnt want to get too rough pulling at it incase there was a nack or a special way to do it?

If it is a case of getting rough with it and pulling it out then i will get stuck in, if its broken anyway then it doesnt matter if it gets shredded getting it out,

thankyou for any help,

Rob

There isn't. I would recommend soaking in wd40 and twisting but not to point it feels like it will break. Then start pulling on it. Just take your time and don't rush. Once you get it out its worth cleaning up rust around hole which is the reason why it's so difficult to remove in first place
