Also say in this weeks Autocar that DSG is likley to be an option on both versions. Would be very interesting if the price was

That estate looks like the supremely ugly Honda Accord. I hope it's not too representative :( :thumbdwn:

The estate looks rather "okay" but no Roof rails? whats that all about? It makes the car look like its missing the best bit.

If they change the front bumper, put a rear spoiler on, alloys and roof rails - then I may consider it. But I'm rather happy with my little beastie at present.

I guess so... :o

look at the seats in the estate as well... 2 tone colouring, black head rests with silver inserts again.

Remember, the "Classic" trim upholstery is black cloth with white inserts.

I can't see the new VRS being 16.5k as the current sport model is 16150 for the petrol 150bhp version and 17115 for the PD140 diesel.

Insurance, fuel economy and tax are all factors as well. The current vRS now costs less than some "Ambiente" models used to cost. Not everyone wants huge alloys and eye-popping performance, nor can everyone afford it. it may be that the vRS slots into line just below "L&K" pricing, and in the middle of "Elegance" pricing. Probably a similar level of toys to the Elegance too.
