Not that I'm a non-believer but I find that hard to believe.

Des, he's in the right part of the world :D

Robi,

An interview with the Head of Design said people would be suprised at the new Octy RS' sportyness compared to the old one.

Pic Jon posted doesn't seem overly sporty to me but...you never know.

the octy pictured is the 'sport'

Indeed, just found a piccie on te German site with text I could read - the Hungarian and Russian site have it as the RS....

Don't really know why I'm bothering as I ain't getting one.

Perhaps it's going to have a huge stripe across it.

Lets hope it's not an orange stripe ;)

It must be heavy.... look what it's done to that lovely tiled floor!

This are not RS pictures.

Pictures represent a 'sport pack' available since the begining of octy II.

That took a bit longer than I expected :D

funny how mowing down a cone left a stripe in the paintwork... must have flipped up over the roof !

re the pics above, these were shown a while back and were found to be the current octy II with the sport pack options.

no offence to current owners but if thats what the vRS II will look like they arent going to get many sales from this shapes owners.

I'd be surprised if those who've been awaiting the Octy II vRS were palmed off with the equivalent of the Fabia Sport - nice body kit but not quite the real thing

That said, the body kit will probably give a reasonable idea on what the vRS will look like. I'd expect slightly more aggressive front/rear looks, but the rest is not going to be much different from the outside I'd imagine. It's not like it looks bad or anything, right ?

definitely not sporty-looking enough to be RS, back end could be a good guide as to how RS's might look, bets on whether it'll be twin exhausts a la Audi/Beemer/R32 Golf, seems to be the flavour of the month at the minute, front doesn't look aggressive enough imo, reckon bumper will be deeper than that...

New vRS comes with 20" chrome spinners

 Spinners.

And it'll have 6 wheels and a jacuzzi in't back. with perhaps some ladies dancing on the roof, and a candy floss machine! and there'll be kittens a-frollocking in the engine bay and window boxes full of pagonias. The seats will be trimmed with wildebeest fur, and the roof will be made out of bubblegum.

(etc....etc.....)

Looks very much like 'vRS' pictures doesnt it.

Typical skoda sales, pile em high and sell em cheap, taking up valuable disabled parking spaces in their quest for world domination.
