Yes, the metallic red with the gold flake is the new colour this year.

Good excuse to charge you a lot of money for a fancy colour.

 

It's actually a bit boring/sensible in dull conditions or at night, but when the sun comes out (or it's under lights) it transforms into a lovely medium red with a sparkly finish.

If I am honest I didn't know it'd look quite so dark when it's not sparkling.

Caught a sunbeam today so got a quick shot in, as it shows the flake in the paint.

 

Car is grubby, as I asked Nissan not to let their sponge monkeys loose on it.

It's going in over the next few days to Rob at Gleam Machine for a far better quality preparation and coat of something to help protect the soft paintwork.

 

 

 

We did take it shopping this morning and it's definitely smaller in the rear seats than the R32 due to having the gearbox back there.

Funny really when the car is noticably bigger and 22 years newer, but there you go.

 

Came out with two kids and a trolley to see a guy taking pictures of it...

It's probably being slagged off on a forum somewhere right now for being parked in a family bay.
