Everything seems to be on a go-slow and it's driving me nuts.

I picked it up from Rob at Gleam Machine today.
I was blown away with the job he has done, considering it's a 22 year old car.

Yes, there are a few small issues that can't be polished out.  But the overall effect is that it just looks stunning now.

Have done about 80 miles in the Skyline.

It's hilarious, there are not enough words to describe it in full.

 

You have to drive it.

It has a bit of lag, it's old, it grips like almost nothing else and I keep realise I'm giggling to myself while driving, like when dropping a gear to find boost or hoofing it round a corner.

 

Modern cars just can't compete.

 

And I'm still only running on the 350bhp map...  roll on 550!

I really enjoy following your threads, exactly what I would've done. an OEM look with plenty of grunt is the way forward.

Need to get about 1,000 on it and then get it checked and oil changed before the track day in 13 days time...

Also my son has started making dump valve type noises.

Don't think he's ever been in a car that makes that kind of noise.  Bit of a novelty.
