  • A few pics of the deeper red colour when the sun is down, brothers in arms.

  • Right.   I gave myself a good talking to and popped out for a little bonding with the new car.   Holy moley it's even more bonkers than I remember the last ones being. Yes, they have worked a lot

Thanks for the positive comments folks. :sun:

Have to say I am very happy with it.

Rob at Gleam Machine put up a thread on detailing world too, showing the work done as he did it.

You never know, I might keep this one for a bit! :giggle:

Stunning, Love the colour...

It must be really tough for you in the morning and waking up and trying to decide what car to take it must take you ages to get out of the house...

He probably just puts all the keys in a bowl and picks one at random but that's a different story!! :giggle:

WOW !! So where are you going to put the Briskoda sticker?

I much prefer those seats to the one's in the dealers car you looked at... I'll be keeping an eye out for it!

That looks immense...  Please don't sell this one....

Or maybe let me have it round at my house if you have nowhere to park it, I would keep it clean

Do you have a large garage?

How far away are you if so, I could use a bit of space. :D

Got stared at quite a bit though.

Was that you or the car though?  :giggle:

Good to hear that the R35 is reaching the parts that other cars can't

I would do a couple of minibusses for a play in either of your Nissans !

Doh , you caught me out  again, as I said previously I need a secretary to to keep me updated of your cars, you have more cars than I have of clean matching socks!  :giggle:

Did post this in elsewhere, but thought I'd pop it here as I'm going...

Just a heads up if anyone is about, at a loose end and fancies popping in.

On Saturday 29th March the Mitsibishi Lancer Register is holding it's Sprint Series at Castle Combe.

Attending to take part will be:

45 Mitsibisi Evos

25 Subaru Imprezas

7 Nissan GT-Rs

Timetable:

  • 08:00 - Registration / Noise test opens (All cars that aren't noise checked before the Drivers Briefing will be checked in the line to the Start)
  • 08:45 - Driver Briefing
  • 09:00 - Sighting lap
  • 09:15 - Practice runs start
  • 09:00 to 12:00 - Class Check
  • 12:00 - Lunch
  • 12:30 - First Timed Runs start
  • 17:00 - Event closes and trophies awarded

Spectating is free, there is no charge to enter the circuit.

So if you fancy popping by it might be an interesting visit if you like Japanese cars, all of which will be modified in some way.

I expect to be going in my 22 year old Skyline and coming near the bottom of the field.

Some of the MLR guys have been doing this for years and have some high spec track cars.

A few highly tweaked modern GT-Rs there too.

Hmmm I'll only be a couple of miles away in the morning doing karting for my stag do.

We were at a bit of a loss on what to do for the afternoon, so this may fit the bill at least for an hour or so

I've seen a lot of stuff at Combe but never a "who can do the fastest 90% of a lap competition"

Start and finish in the pits (effectively) and a tight chicane or two to balance the big fast cars a bit.

Did I spot the number plate TES 1 A  on the Leaf Richard??

Richard, how have I missed this thread...?

I think you have built almost a dream garage for most of the people that frequent this forum... esspecailly when the Citigo and yeti's are completed!

next you will be tuning the leafs...

Yes, yes you did lol. And he went to drive a Tesla and arrived in that leaf. I imagine their faces were a picture :)

Thanks.

The reason that I've tried to keep it all on one thread and not linked or mentioned it in my signature is that while I like sharing the experience and passion for cars (as people who have popped by for a look/ride know) I've also tried not to go giving it billy big potatoes all over the forum as I do appreciate that I am fortunate to have the choices I have and that's not really me.

It's mostly a Skoda forum after all. :)

It seemed like a good idea at the time...
