It's a lovely car, I've had it for 6 months and loved every minute of it! It's a real beauty. :)

Wouldnt bother swapping for any of the cars listed!

The punto will be a better car than a £3500 shi77er of a fabia vrs!

It does say he can add cash so should get a decent furby for £4k+

Rather have a Toledo TDi and have plenty of cash left for modding

Could get a beauty for £2-3k

Anyway

I've done 80k in my mark I vRS and 110k in my grande punto (1.9 165bhp (mapped) ) , and I'd rather have the punto... my punto was better equipped, handled better than a "sorted" mark I vRS, was more reliable, and more pretty. :) If I had the money i may well have bought an Abarth instead of my current vRS ;)

Very nice. Shouldn't take long to sell that.

I understand what you people say. The punto is way better equipped. What has really impressed me is the blue&me connectivity, I didn't expect a punto to be equipped with cool stuff like that. Also stuff like insurance, looks and handling the Punto takes the lead.

However ever since I've passed my driving test, I've always wanted to try out all the diesels pocket rockets. :) I'm not the type that will keep a car for years and years. I'm still young and want to experience new things :)

Haven't had much interest though. Maybe it's the wrong time of the year to sell.

Awais.

Yes, Blue&Me is great - I have it on my Bravo.
At the time it was one of the best media systems available without spending a fortune on a premium branded car.

It's brilliant... I really love it! Abit sad I won't get these features with the other cars without breaking the bank!

Honestly you'll be going to a lesser equipped car thats likely to be 2 to 4 years older and the latest reincarnation of the vauxhall nova / citroen saxo

I bet he didn't expect to come to a Skoda forum and get lots of people telling him to stick with the Fiat :D

I certainly didn't! lol

What people haven't realised yet is that what a bargain of a price this is. If you look at autotrader and other sites, you won't find a good clean example cheaper than this for sure.

And Big Jase, I was thinking the same thing too. I've been suggested by quite a few people now to stick to the punto. But I really want to have a go in a Fabia Vrs, been wanting it for ages.

However you never know, I might just end up sticking with the Punto for abit longer. That way I can save up for some exciting mods! :)

Great cars these I've got one but with dual climate control and leather seats although mines an 06 so dials and badge are slightly different.  Only problem I've had is the turbo lag can be a pain the bum.

Blue&Me is a brilliant system use it for playing music via usb stick.

I was looking at Fabia's and drove one but preferred the ride in the Punto (that's why I bought one!) but everyone is different.

Any fabia vrs your going to get for 3.5k is going to be extremely worn

Possibly looking at big maintainance bills

Turbo / clutch / flywheel / cam / head lift

My memories of Fiats were that they were rust buckets, mind you I'm going back to the days of the 131's etc of the 80's , surprising how those and Skoda's have moved along since...

In the 80s, everything was a rust bucket.

Try a 21st century ford

They are the definition of rust buckets
