Navigation System - which model and how to install new language?

Featured Replies

Hi, all!

Just got my Skoda Rapid Elegance in Israel, all is great except for one thing - the media/navigation system UI is in Hebrew which I do not speak :( I can see there is a language list in the UI (mine only has Hebrew), so it should be possible to install other languages there, right? I also can't find the navigation system I have in the manuals on the Skoda site, and nowehere does it say which model I have. Does anyone recognize it from the attached image?

Thanks for all the help!!!!

I'm not even sure that's an official Skoda headunit, it looks like one of many cheap Chinese clones.

As above, looks like a Chinese rip off of the Skoda Columbus sat nav hdd model.

Yeah, that's not a normal Skoda system. Did it come with the car?

The Skoda ones will have the correct font on the top, and only one sd card slot...

From the info menu in the navigator:

MCU Version: 2013-09-16:00:32-A438

OS Version: 2013-08-22-19-v6.0A

App Version: 2013-09-09-14:25:49_dead37

Yes, the system did come with the car from the dealership. Are you saying I got ripped off?

Is this system in the standard spec or options list in Israel or did the dealer fit it for you as an aftermarket accessory?

The dealer certainly led me to believe that it was in the standard options list.

Hey I am from Israel too, It seems to me that since you don't speak Hebrew you were led to believe this is a genuine skoda nag system, what langauge do you speak? you can call me, I'll try to help you.

That is 100% not an original head unit, most certainly aftermarket!
