There was a light shower just after I finished applying G3 Resin Superwax last week. A few tidy little droplets.

Very nice indeed! How do you find AF Illusion?

It gives good results - but it's a little too oily for my liking.

Yeah it does seem a bit oily I have slapped too much on before and ended up with holograms but a quick wipe down with a q/d sorted it

Indeed - same sort of scenario I found buddy... the odd "hologram" seen here and there after initial buffing;

but a 2nd stage buff after the wax has gassed properly and/or a QD follow-up seems to solve this.

Not that bad a pic really - you either need some light to help with the contrast; or add a filter perhaps - easily done on most smartphones.... just to help bring out the definition on the beads.

Nice beads though!

Im afraid not..I just point my iPhone

I have a white car...What LSP product are you using?

Yeah I just pointed my phone at it on my way past this morning. Light wasn't great.

That's from a single layer of Collinite 476S i applied on sunday.

You could try some B&W shots on a white car; increase the contrast and you might get some nice shots :)

I'll get the camera out instead of my phone and have a play around.

Lovely jubbly!

CarPro ReLoad is a great product

Very nice Rich

So important too to mention the product applied

Truth be told I've been having a bit of trouble with Reload , the bottle I got in the Cquartz kit is fine but I bought a big 1 litre bottle and that made the bonnet go streaky and oily, the consensus is the big bottle doesn't spray as finely but i'm not convinced

Applied neat - or diluted?

Mild dilution helps; and avoid warm/hot panels when applying

Both bottles are neat and I applied it in the garage so nice and cool . I will try decanting it into a bottle with a finer mist and might dilute it at the same time to be sure

Its only the product in the big bottle i'm having issue with the little bottle seems fine

Ive never used that QD...but I would dilute it a little as you say

Craig Hall from CarPro always recommends a mild dilution Rich.... so well worth testing this with you setup.

I think i'm getting the hang of photographing the car now.
