I could have done with that engine a couple of weeks earlier !!

Nothing takes longer than that! :giggle:

Glaciers move quicker than citigo projects ;) :p

How about a V6 superb engine in there??

Hmmmm interesting ........

A couple of daft ideas I might try if I had your car budget:

1: Stick the spare citigo engine in it and see what sort of power Shark/Jabba could get out of such a small engine (given no odd limitations like turbo lagg etc.)

2: get a 2nd hand leaf mk1 and Fuse them?

Transplant Golf 4Motion running gear, with the V6? Or drop the V6 in favour of a 1.8T?

Even more crazy go for beating Devon at the PD bhp / lbft numbers game? :giggle:

Ultimately go Eco and convert to electric a la The Greatest Favorit?

It was an interesting drive home Pasty.

As times visbility was about 50 yards or less, you couldn't see the road markings hardly at all due to standing water and vans and lorries were weaving around due to the high winds.  That was on the M40.

Then 20 miles from home it was clear and bright.

Definitely a good choice of day to put the Yeti through it's paces as a tow car! :D

Electrify it - some sort of petrol / Electric hybrid track day car.

To pay homage to it's previous owner, I think you should do this, but replace the orange with a Cornish Pasty......

900 bhp Cornish Pasty then?

900 bhp Cornish Pasty then?

Fasty.

Fasty Pasty.

Keep the diseasal theme and bung a twin turbo V6 midships or a V10 from a toureg in the front. Then slam it to the ground and make like a silohette racer. Jobs a good'un.

I think a fairly simple track toy or fast road car would be enough.

Rallye green, black roof, mirrors and grill. Pimp wheels. Done.

Isn't there issues with putting a different fueled engine into a car. It can be done but I'm sure DVLA wanted more than usual.

A good option maybe a 2.0TDI but depends how much heavier it is compared to the 1.9 TDi and if it fits

How many track cars does one man need  :D

Glad to see the PastyWagon getting another chance at life. Are you going for just the looks, or going mad on the drivetrain as well, or is that a secret for now  :giggle: ?
