Yes, very straight forward.

I was in there maybe 30 minutes tops, quite a bit of which the tester was asking about my Yeti as his wife wants one.

I now have a form so I can send off for the V5c.

 

Hopefully in three weeks it'll be taxed and on the road.

About the same time the interior swap happens.

It's weird, available and my one smells due to the car being parked up in the salvage yard for months.

i can see this as being a keeper for Richard, afterall i dont know anyone else who would want to buy one with a fabia with the Green/Beige combo!

The green / beige combo takes me back to 2002, working for Skoda, I had a leasing company order come through for an Octavia 1.9 Tdi 110 Elegance estate in Petrol Green with Bamboo beige cloth..... Petrol green was bad enough in isolation, but with the beige they'd have never have got rid at the end of the contract. They still had it though.... Brave people.

 

At least Fantasy green on the Fabia is a more pastel colour, so appears quite modern still.

Well...

 

A combination of driving the ST and realising I've got 10 cars, backed up with calls from various dealers/tuners saying my Red Yeti, Blue Yeti and Skyline are ready to be collected has brought the realisation that I've got too many cars thundering in.

Not to mention that at least 3 or 4 of them are decent track day cars.

 

So in short I need to avoid spendng money turning turds into half decent cars, when I already have better ones.

Plus I need to reduce the number, ideally getting down from 10 to maybe 5.

 

So the 06 plate Fabia VRS needs to go.

The Y reg Fantasy Green Fabia needs to go.

SEAT FR1.8t donor car needs to go.

And the WRC kit I have sitting here, still wrapped and packed needs to go...

 

As much fun as it's been messing about with mk1 Fabias (not including breaking as that's been a complete PITA) I think the time has come to call it a day.

I think it's been fun, in a round about way you've worked out that the only way to enjoy a mk1 vRS is in SE spec

As nice as it is to have lots of toys I think you have more than enough with two yeti's, two big fat nissans and a citi go! Not to mention some you have hidden

i don't like this sensible Richard, let the crazy Richard loose again lol. On a serious note though its probably a wise move narrowing down the fleet and enjoying the things you already have instead of the stress of lots of other different projects
