Richard's mk1 Fabia thread. (Yes, I have a mk1 Fabia problem...)

This is the only logical conclusion I can draw.

Combine all the aforementioned parts into a Fantasy Green WRC BossFox Racing Fabia :D

The 2014 (ish) Mk1 Skoda Fabia Fantasy Green WRC with a limited edition Beige Interior!

That is a great assortment of parts you have there Richard :) would love to see the wrc kit fitted at some point :)

Is Fox Racing copyrighted? New venture?

much power increase? :D

They were tri-spoke (is that even a word ?!)... Very 90's so yeah they were good for ~25 extra horses

When is the WRC 1.8T project arriving then Richard ? ;)

Assuming you mean the Cat C classic they usually take a month to deliver!

And I can't be bothered to go and get it with the Yeti and a trailer.

That's unlike you - it is the slime green twin after all!

Just busy and I try to avoid trivial stuff at weekends to spend time with the family.

That way I only dissappear once a month or so for the occasional club event/track day rather than every weekend.

I've got a golf vr6 for sale could do a fantasy green vr6 fabia wink wink..............

That's a very do able swap - a mate of mine did a 9N polo vr6!

If I wanted that much weight in the front I'd just drive around with two bags of compost strapped to the bonnet.

Or buy another VRS. ;)

4x4 is tempting though!

(I'm guessing it's not a four wheel drive one though)

I love the noise they make. 4x4 would be awesome but I can't help but think it would be under powered. Would defiantly need a supercharger! VR6 sound with a supercharger wine is win win!!!

The syncro mk3 golfs are as rare as rocking horse ......!!

It's fwd but still goes and sounds epic. Cheap ish conversion and not seen very often!

Would indeed be a similar weight to a vRS with the vr6 lump weighing as much but I'm sure fwd and a fair amount of power (210bhp with a charger) would be fun.

When I had my Scoob (going back 14 years!) I had a "play" with a VR6 Golf.

I remember getting to a roundabout and going round it, while the VR6 turned his wheels and went straight on...

How many mad projects do people think I need! :D

Lol :) understeer can be cured - the fabia chassis isn't amazing but has potential. The golf chassis is very similar in setup though?

Look at it this way:

Yeti vrs - done.

Citigo go - 90% done.

Fabia project/love affair - tbc.

I bet you wish you could answer that question yourself haha.

Problem is I've accidentally stumbled across the Fiesta ST, which is probably the best handling front wheel drive hot hatch from the factory.

And it's already got over 200bhp.

And a warranty.

And I haven't had to throw £5,000+ at it in mods, which I've instantly lost. :whew:

Yeti VRS isn't done!
