He has a trailer so could drive two at a push... or maybe its a plan to get a trackday full of Richards cars, driven by Briskoda members...

Just like a budget Peter Saywell...

I've got a new Fiesta ST-3 arriving in a week or two.

But I've not gone into it here for fear of derailing the thread. :)

See what I mean...  :D

If you can advise which Ford Dealer you've used I'd be obliged..............

Plenty of them in Essex, but I've only used Rates & Essex Auto Group in the past, 'tis possible that we might do better elsewhere.

TIA, DC.

Lookers in South Woodham Ferrers.

They told me cost price was £1,000 over what I paid though, so had to go away, use carwow and then for a call if they were keen.

Which they did on the last day of the month so must have been close to a sales target.

Meanwhile, back on Fabia related stuff I'm giving serious thought to breaking the tuned red one.

Baring in mind it's mostly complete bodywork wise with just an engine that's got a damaged sump I'm wondering if I should just break it...

I thought the other two were good cheap cars and yet there has been no real interest.

Which surprised me.    So no point having three of them.

Maybe I should stick them on ebay.

Breaking is likely to be more profitable, although time consuming if dismantling yourself?

Probably more money in bits?

Wheels, brakes, turbo, suspension, doors etc

If two whole cars are struggling to sell could be the way forward.

I could at some point pop up for a day and dismantle a lot of the best selling bits.

I could pop up and watch and nick the good bits :)

Very generous of you Lee, but it's a fair way to come so I'm not sure it's right.

Appreciate the sentiment though. :)

as long as I get the hubs and a couple of other minor items, I'm happy to help. Cleared it with SWMBO, just dependent on the date and how soon you need rid ;)

I can't believe nobody had bought them Richard. I'd like to buy one but one Fabia vRS is enough for me!

As with the previous Fabias, if you want some idle hands let me know! :D

Don't forget, i called dibs on exhaust and intercooler. ;):D

Were you thinking of stripping the Ibiza/using the engine for a project??

Maybe.

That seems a real shame to have written off a car for such minor damage. Nice low mileage example too. The owner must have been gutted.

It does seem a shame to have written it off and i suppose the owner just wanted a payout rather than to buy back and repair the car themselves.

Has that prang severely bent anything underneath the car?

Doesn't look like it.

It's just chipped the alloy wheel so they've had to use the spare. (and the rack has taken a bit of welly obviously)
