It has impressive acceleration for a battle bus but cornering is not so precise. I will have it with me, if the Golf is ready the 330 will be pulling the trailer to Blyton

Do a Roadkill, have the mechanic work on it while it's on the trailer on the way down,

You gotta get yourself on track,

Im sure if the golf cant make it there will be loafs of passenger rides avaliable. I would be more than happy for you to come for a spin if you wanted to..

If you're out of luck, then you can be my wingman for the citigo in the 116d.

Good luck with the golf work. If it's meant to be it will be.

I still like to think of the A5 as the Tudor 2002 that never was.

Thanks for the life coaching...  many people have uttered those words before, I think my Dad started it.  "Son, you have to get yourself on track.."   :D

I am trying my best guys, spoke to Simon this morning and the sump is now off ready for the oil return, manifold will be modded later and Russ Fellows is looking at the down pipe, rest of the exhaust might have to remain stock for now but as long as I am out on track who cares about the exhaust.

I will expect to see you on track regardless of the badge on the front of the car...

Simon has a massive job, if we are successful and do make it to Blyton with the Golf, the whole job of turboing it will have taken 4 working days from start to finish, maybe 5 now as Saturday morning I have been summoned to assist, doing what is not yet clear but assist I shall.

Thanks Colin, are there going to be any afternoon taster sessions at all?

Colin, I got a delivery notification. Is there something in there I'm going to need? I won't be going back home until after the day, so won't be able to collect whatever it is.

Nope, nothing that you need. I've posted out the email in a letter and a map. If you go to your purchases you'll get most of the same info.

Be there from 07:30 to 9:00 for sign on. Don't miss the start of the brief at 9am next to cafe.

Yes, but they might not be 30 mins. They might be a bit longer because I'll have to administer it, i.e. sit i race control and tell them which car has had time etc.

But you will categorically on the day be able to get on track if you change your mind between now and then.

I'll just need some cash and you'll need to attend the 9am or 2pm briefing.

HTH.

Colin

Just got this from my contacts at the IAM. Seems its not just Blyton that's not selling...

"Just a quick note to inform you that we still have some places left on the forthcoming skills days at Croft Circuit on Tuesday 26 August (cars) and Wednesday 27 August (bikes).  I would be grateful if you could remind your members through your various group meetings, newsletters and websites.  Please be aware that these days are also open to non-members who may be looking to improve their skills or just want learn more about the high quality training the IAM provides. Places are limited so please book early to avoid disappointment"

Just seen that Carfest North is on too. Might be one for the Saturday !

Oh I wonder if I dropped a ball here. Does Lincolnshire have a brewery?

If the bbq den comes off, then definitely should find some local sausages.

I'd cough for a barrel of bradfield brewery best, if it even fitted in the citigo. Except my events piggy bank is broken :(

I could do one of those super imposed projections like F1, Bernie says think before you...

Yes there are:
