Saw on daToobe, couldn't believe it really! Do you know what charges the driver is having brought agaisnt him? False imprisonment amongst others as passenger (can you believe it?!?!) was begging the driver to stop and let her(him?) out!

Hmm yeah highlights will do - might make it to Brands to watch the last race of the season instead.

Will feel a bit odd turning up to a big Skoda meet in a Clio but hopefully nobody will hold it against me as I do actually own a Skoda as well ;)

Last time Clio smoked most of the cars on the track, didn't get the chance to ask what he was fielding but had insane grip in corners!

I just like the fact that the only corner where I *may* be able to poke my car, there happens to be a mahoosive grass verge on the outside :(

Just do as I do and on the potentially dodgy corners never go 100% - At Castle Combe I suspect I only give 100% in the two small chicanes.  Every other corner is given some respect and I never attack at 100%. :)   I will apply the same to Blyton and any other track I attend - It's my golden rule of tracking my daily driver :D

I always start slowly and gradually build up speed untill I reach the limits of my or car's ability. The point is if you do it gradually then when you reach the limit it is not going to be dramatic and there is soo much bigger chance you will be able to correct it. Even if you don't the off is not going to be too dramatic as compared to going off at brake neck speed :)

Good plan. :)

fair point, what else is needed then because i have never done a track day in my own car before

I'm booked in, first time for me too - got some instructor time too.

I'm getting insurance for the day so if it goes majorly wrong I'm not binning 15k or whatever it's now worth! Looking like about £90.
