Changing VRS rear brake disc protection plates

Wondered if anyone has tackled changing the protection plates for the rear discs?

 

One side is loose and although not coming into contact with anything, would like to change them before it gets worse!

 

Happy enough to do it myself if it's a case of remove calipers, carrier and discs, but if it gets more involved than that I'd probably get someone to do it for me!

 

Also, can anyone confirm if parts number would be 1J0615609 and 1J0615610 for 2007 Octavia VRS 2.0TDi ?

You need to be in the Octavia II section :)

 

From memory, it is a PITA to get the caliper carriers off so that you can get the discs off.
