Very pleased with the HBA, although the fog can confuse the camera!

So, changing the lux from 3 to 10, does that enable them to work more in lighter conditions?

Yay! Managed to recode with lights off and HBA is enabled! (strangely my car does not have the option to turn off/on driver activity monitor though but that is a different thread)

They should be enabled by default on a O3, the brake light flash is.

Had a go on a few last night.

So far only done the lap timer and the open/close via fob on the electic boot. So far they have been successful.

A fee I tried and they looked totally different to the screen shots (as was the descriptions) so I decided not to fiddle and break a one week old car!

The descriptions will change with different modules and different versions of VCDS, but not by much. On adaptation channels ignore the leading number in brackets, it is the description you are trying to match up.

Have you an example of what was different?

Which version of VCDS are you using? Just use the latest version and the correct label file is loaded.

Most changes are now made on the 1000's of adaptation channels on the BCM, not by coding.

I'll have another "play" one day this week and I will post some screen shots/more information. It was relating to HBA one of the ones that I was looking at.

The boot and lap timer went fairly easy, and as I'm "new" to VCDS I really didn't want to break something :)

Thank you for advice. I will double-check for version when I get my hands on the cable again, it was borrowed.

Realised I had selected the wrong one in A5 so changed:

Address A5:5Q0 980 653 F recoded (Long Coding) from 0100020001030300000400000000010100 to 0100010001030300000400000000010100  (73430/790/00201)  Thursday,12,November,2015,17:59:11:45117

However it was still not working giving an error on use.

I tried resetting everything and trying again with no luck so reset everything back to original and called it a night.

First time through I had not turned the lights off, however, they were when I tied again.
