I got my build week today, 49. Im in norway so i guess i'll have it right after New years.

I think the brown seats are a lovely warm chocolate colour and works well with the brown plastic/black polished trim/ivory pillars and roof. Nothing offends the eye.

I also purchased the brown interior and brown paintwork without seeing both actually together - Briskoda members assisted with pics of their cars topaz brown, my parents visited local dealer to them in July to see the interior, really glad I took the plunge with it now!

The colour works well on the seats. Not 100% sure about that colour on the lower plastics yet though.

But, as long as the owners are happy, who gives a **** what i think?

Really like the wheels, not so sure about the interior but, each to his own, enjoy her.

Very nice car,looked at a 4x4 cappachino estate in the dealer showroom today,when my vrs was being serviced,been there a good couple months suprised it hasnt sold,going for one myself next year

Saw it in the flesh today in the dark, still got the wrapping on.

 

Hopefully off to be detailed tomorrow and then collect on Saturday afternoon - almost there!

What is the detailing work that will be undertaken on the car ?

Full paint, glass and wheel sealant, but I'm getting it done in a week or so now as it is a bit rushed.

Paperwork done, collect on Saturday.

Is this treatment similar to Diamondbrite which I had done on my Superb when new ? My treatment also included the internal fabric so I am thinking of having it done again by the same guy who came to my house to undertake the work. I must say that the car looked pretty special once cpmpleted.

Much much better than that, g-techniq and other similar products being used, professional detailing products.

I'd be interested to hear how the ride comfort compares to your Elegance? I think the ride is just a bit too hard on mine so I'd expect the L&K to be worse with the larger wheels. A hard ride, luxury model combination doesn't work for me.

I have 18s on my Elegance at the moment.

I had 18's on my Superb Elegance and found the test drive in the Octavia L&K with 18's just as good. One of my reasons for choosing the L&K over the vRS is because of the less firm ride. The other main reason is the L&K has a very good 1.8 TSi engine.

I have come from mk1 fabia vrs hard as nails ride & sticks sticks like glue and I am finding the ride wonderful in the L&K, just as I hoped. Ride comfort was the only reason the Oct vrs was ruled out - i really wanted normal suspension with vrs engine performance but not option at time of ordering. Sport mode is much better than normal for drivability [emoji6]
