  • Right, this is getting ridiculous now.   I really do feel sorry for Tom, as his thread is being constantly spoilt by off topic arguments.   Can the people involved please no longer post if it is d

  • Ok so here it is, side by side comparison of M-Perf and Stock M135i exhausts. A mate of mine owns the white car, the grey one is mine. :-)

hope you don't mind me posting all this guff in our thread Tom, but I got my car back from the detailers and the result is superb. Super shiny and ultra reflective. The coating has teeny flecks of gr

Tom /Amanda,

Just had a glance at BMW used web, see that within less than 50 mile radius of me that at least 3 well spec'd LCI demos up for sale South of £30k.http://usedcars.bmw.co.uk/1-Series/3.0-M135i/Coventry/3415256-605123228-3497125.aspx?srcmdc=se_na_re_

I also noted Tom's comments of a few weeks ago, about the very attractive deals being offered on New M135i.

Does this mean than the Face lifted model is not selling very well? Don't have any stats to hand - just wondered what the dealers are actually saying.

Thanks for the updates on price Keith, but I already have bought my BMW M135i and don't really need a second one. I saw an R advertised for £25K the other day. Surprised it's losing money so fast really.

Guess it depends what you paid for it etc. My main point was ,are they selling in reasonable numbers .Hence I was tapping into your knowledge and relationship with the BMW dealerships.

As a neighbour of mine is considering buying one.

I have no interest in the used ones, at least not until I decide to sell mine, so I suspect I am not your font of knowledge on this one. I suspect your interweb skills will be more than sufficient to help you 'interested neighbour'.

Tom I can't remember if you said you got your MPE from Cotswolds? Looks like they are still doing the deal and it includes the Chrome tips. My local dealer wants an extra £250 for them (I thought they were included?), although perhaps they meant as a stand alone item. Anyhoo, very seriously wanting extra gurgling :)

Yep Cotswold supplied mine, very good service and bargain price. Trying to charge extra for the chrome tips is daft although technically they are separate item. Mine was £650 inc tips and delivery I think.

You soooo need this exhaust in your life :-). It's absolutely epic, puts huge smile on my face every day....

They only charge £70 for the fitting it looks like, so I would get peace of mind that a BMW dealer had done the work so I would have comeback if it bounced off the bodywork over speed bumps for instance. Seeing if I can get my local dealer to take interest in doing a deal. Otherwise it's a tank of fuel as the only extra cost (although I might be able to persuade them not to charge for the unused delivery?). had a blast coming out of the lake district today and would have loved the extra 'parp!' :D

Guess where I'm going on Thursday Tom ? :) :) :)

Could these be on their way to your local dealer?

Irony of ironies. For some reason, my reg was taken down incorrectly (probably my fault :D) and the dealer rang me back asking why the reg I'd given him was for a Golf. I said I only need the 2 pipes at the back.

That would give a pronounced wheelbarrow appearance to my car :D

Quad pipes of the Type R and Golf R when viewed from behind!

Yes, that's why I said I only wanted the 2 pipes. He can sell the others to another customer.

Took the M135i out on track on Saturday at "how fast" Bedford Autodrome. Went up from Cornwall in a group with 2 other M135i's and my brother in his Z3. Was absolutely awesome fun!

Quick vid:

Would be nice to hear the engine, do love that straight six!

Looks like you had a good day.

Same place that the R out performed the Audi RS3.

Evo mag test.

Think you have posted in the wrong thread by mistake Keith

Would have been nice to hear the noise :) What was the whizzy open wheeled thingy? Was it an Atom or something equally fun/daft? It didn't look like a Seven/Westfield type of thing.

I'll post up another vid with plenty of noise included in the next couple of days hopefully :-)

Yep Amanda the whizzy things were Atoms. Very quick! You can hire them at the circuit. A young chap turned up in his Aventador but they wouldn't let him on track as it was too loud so he ended up hiring an Atom!

Whoo hoo, it's every thing you said Tom and possibly more. It reminds me of the old E3 36/46 M3. Couldn't be happier. I can even enjoy the soundtrack with the windows up now :D and you're right about the noise in 'Comfort', it sounds very similar to the standard zoorst when cruising :) Boy oh boy, the Snap crackle and pop is impressive now though :D

Glad you like! Sounds epic doesn't it? I love it in sport mode with the windows down and the gearbox in manual listening to the pops and crackles on the overrun in 1st/2nd/3rd. Any pics of it fitted?

I like exactly the same and have now noticed that there are soft popples in 4th :) Just popped out for something I didn't really need ;) and have made note to self. Drive very gingerly when you pull away in a quiet street :D or alternatively don't press the SPORT button

Here are a few piccies taken with my phone. I reckon the pipe is only very slightly more proud than the original. I am happy with the way it looks Anyhoo :)

Btw the mark on the bum in the first shot is just a weird reflection of my hands and phone, I didn't spot it when I snapped the pictures as I was in a rush. But I have been out to the car with my torch 20 mins ago to just to check!!!!!! :D
