Just surfaced from my pit and it's already 24C and could reach 35/36C. Off to watch the Liverpool game later so I'd better take a jumper,just in case.

Home tomorrow so it will be heating on and fire lit for our return

And there's me having to make do with 3 weeks in New Zealand followed

by a week in Fiji.... Bu99er!

Sad thing is we're not going until the end of September, and 40 days takes 

a long time to pass when you don't have to do any work in the meantime.

So a 40 day wait followed by a 30 day holiday.

It's safe to say the next 70 days will be hell.

Just be grateful you missed the roadworks at Woodlands, which have been cleared up ready for your return. Nearly half an hour to get from Sainsburys to the traffic lights   (less than half a mile for those that don't have the pleasure of driving through Harrogate).
