For reference, the central electronics module code:

3C0 937 049 AD (3C0937049AD) – 23 Byte – Medium

Me included, Mike is a wizz with VCDS!

Is this the 4300K kit?

Is the side light working on the 'after' picture?

Is this worthwhile improvement would you say?

It's a 5000K kit

I must apologies for the photos as they were actually taken when I first installed them back in February which evidently shows the cold light diagnostic issue with the LED sidelights at the time. Well spotted though! Thankfully I can report is all working 100% correctly now. Although Mike enabled the North American light setting which means the dipped lights are switched on only when lights are switched off. They function as normal on all other settings.

The difference is literally night and day (no pun intended!) I can see very little difference with full beam (need to upgrade the bulbs as very yellow) but in terms of light output - nice and crisp white light. It's less tiring to drive at night and much better illumination which from a safety aspect is very important.

Mike Who ?

Mike Who ?

Never heard of him :)

I did tell him he would have to do it manually by editing the binary if the tick box was missing from that label file for that controller, but Mike found a different way of achieving the same result.

Having 2 Octy II's of his own to compare the coding to was the only way anyone could have solved this, well done Mike!

Excellent job, and well done Mike!

Like you say stuff like this is what the forum is all about

Mike the Superstar. Yet again showing what the forum is about.
