Christmas already?

Yesterday after a lot of arm twisting by my beloved, I drove her to her favourite Garden Centre to find that they had closed off a large part of it to install christmas trees and santa's grotto, there were two large Reindeer complete with sledge and parcels,

I find that spoils the whole Christmas thing for me, even at my great age I enjoy the few days of Christmas but this is really disappointing for me and spoils the magic, I asked the supervisor if he was going to include fireworks and Easter eggs but he obviously had no sense of humour.

I am not religious but find all this commercialisation of seasons just greed,

Thats my rant for today, I won't frequent that establishment again ever but for what I spent there in the past it won't  affect there sales.

Cards were in the shops around Wrexham and Chester the end of July. It's shocking really. Wasn't until the beginning of December when I grew up in the 80's

Merely pandering to market forces - blame the "great" UK public.

 

Most of the population have zero lives outside of Facebook and so the annual round of Easter, Halloween, Bonfire Night and Christmas are the main focus in their lives.

I was at a company on Friday who are just about to start their summer 2015 marketing and product lines.

Spring looks quite retro.

Dobbies a garden centre near us had Xmas stuff on display when we were in on the 6th September. It was next the the BBQ stuff they were still selling.
