Fan inside running without engine running

Featured Replies

I have a new Skoda Superb Estate (July 14) and suddenly 3 days ago when I pressed the KESSY button to turn on the systems, there is a sound like a fan running inside the car and cold air is being blown. Even if you turn off the Climatronic and have no fan running on the controls the fan still is running anybody know why this is. It only happened after I had cleaned the car and wonder if I accidentally pressed a button internally.

I have had a similar sitution and it was that I had knocked the seat fan switch with my work laptop bag   :x

The seat switch was also going to be my answer.

Danny / Darwin,

Thanks for your advice and that was the problem. I feel such a prat. Have never used the ventilation on the front seats since I got the vehicle so never gave that a thought. Saved me the time and effort taking it to the Skoda dealer, who incidentally when I described the problem did not have a clue what it was or could be and simply said they wanted me to take the vehicle in. Makes you think. Likely they would have charged £200 under warranty to Skoda.
