The solution for the original thread is interesting for me also.

Finally is there a solution, because i like the AC off as much as possible. I only turn on when outside is extremely hot.

Thx!

A/C doesn't need to be ON for short recurcilation periods,

It causes cold air blow suddenly, it is annoying in winter...

Fords doesn't do this.

Good gosh, talk about digging up old threads! Ah well I guess the same is true today as it was back in 2014.

Nobody seems to have picked up on the fact that air-conditioning has nothing whatsoever to do with air temperature so when the OP says it's annoying when it blows cold air in winter, the answer should have been turn the heater up.  :wall:

Also interesting to see how someone dismissed the idea of people complaining about the car misting up implying the driver is dumb. I've owned many brands of cars, the majority of them with some version of climate control yet I too prefer air-con turned off. Funny how it's only VW products where the windows mist up, in fact the only times I have air-con on is to demist the windows. Whatever ventilation process VAG use, it obviously introduces moisture inside the cabin. I've never ever had any Japanese brand nor BMW or Mercedes fill up with moisture the way VW products do.
