  • You'd have to be a bit daft to think there won't be. Ford has (unlike other car makers) realised that loads of people remap and found a way to influence what people do to their cars. At least by off

  • This is my one, love the little beast.

  • Makes you wonder why so few makers do have an approved remap available. You'd think it would be better for VAG to be involved in a safe remap for it's products that just leave the door open to a mult

I like the idea of the ST, straight on the phone to Ben. The new version just launched doesn't add enough, 10bhp? The way VAG are making these tiny 10bhp steps on the Cupra and the Golf is a bit lame imo.

Steve, might only be a slight increase in BHP but other tweaks give subtle improvement as well. 7speed DSG also on the R mk7.5 if you don't want manual. Better brakes etc.

Doesn't  really need the 350bhp of the Focus RS mk3 in my opinion.

If you want more

Noticed on the "coming up, in this series of Top Gear" montage that they had a brake calliper shot with the 'N' decal.  Hopefully that's the i30N and it reviews well.

Ironically it struck me the other day that the Koreans look less Korean than BMW or worse, Mercedes. The current C Class looks almost cartoon like from some angles, you'd have to be seriously one eyed to want one.

Cupra @Geneva, with the female touch.

OT, or not as it looked like a hot hatch and i liked when i spotted it, and looked closer.

2018, Audi Q2 Sportline in Tech Grey with shiny black plastic bits and black wheels.

Looked like sitting on stilts or with transport blocks in but the lady that had been  driving it was shopping so obviously no transport blocks in...

It got a very positive review on TG last night.  Ok, it was from the useless one who usually does little more than advertise for Footlocker and JD Sports, in the studio but nevertheless I'm pleased he gave it an honest review and recommendation and didn't just passed off as 'a good first attempt, not as good as the established hot hatches'.

I hope Hyundai/Kia stick with the performance line and don't give it up like Mazda did with their MPS sub brand; the next incarnation could be pretty special based on the i30N

If I didn't need a bigger car I'd have one on my shopping list right now.
