Keith's 2015 Mega Hot Hatch Thread

No just NIP's and then the resulting prosecutions......

& then the Insurance Companies going against natural justice and charging more on each policy even though i can just be driving one vehicle at a time.

Odd you get points and fined or banned once by the courts but the more vehicles you have the more one offence can cost you because 'The Insurance Industry' want to benefit unjustly.

  • You'd have to be a bit daft to think there won't be. Ford has (unlike other car makers) realised that loads of people remap and found a way to influence what people do to their cars. At least by off

  • This is my one, love the little beast.

  • Makes you wonder why so few makers do have an approved remap available. You'd think it would be better for VAG to be involved in a safe remap for it's products that just leave the door open to a mult

I like the look.

Follow from yesterday, now it's the Leon ST 4WD competition to Golf R Estate. That is until the R mk7.5 facelift arrives 2nd /3rd quarter 2017

Just for you @vrskeith

I've just had an email off Drive the Deal.

"VW Golf 2.0 TSi 310 R 5dr AWD DSG (new model)*

Just £28,693
Save 16%"

Seems cheap! No wonders they're more common than GTI's around here.

VW are the new Skoda/SEAT,  discounted before they are even available.

I did that the other week, similarly Orangewheels are discounting also. Means of getting order book established creating demand - like Ford did with Focus RS but they then increased twice in under 12months. My local dealership said that customer deliveries won't be arriving until end of 2nd Qtr or early 3rd qtr 2017.

Cheers

Based on my current high spec car but the R mk7.5 facelift Orangewheels discounted. Inchcape dealership seem to be one of the biggest that use this discounter.

Added base spec 5dr with DSG and met paint

A dealership I have done business with in the Midlands, tells me that they have two R Facelifted mk7.5 on order for demo /launch. Down for build in  week2, potential delivery end of March deliver but more likely  mid - end of April 2017.

Current offer VW, £1000 deposit contribution ( presumably PCP) @ 4.8% APR

I am really liking the look of this cars potential, if the engineers can glean a lot form it's development, from the WRC 120  over the last few seasons.

Could be a cracking hot hatch.

I've seen the rally car perform in the flesh a few time now and still forecast  it to win WRC 2017 but will be tough.
