Yeh, fun only. My line through quarry is different on every lap.

Every track has its peculiarities which people who drove it many times before would know about as opposed to somebody who'd never been. It is not about being competitive or, I don't know, obsessed about the best lines etc - just some seat of the pants knowledge, that's all .

 

Bedford HowFast has its long left-hander just before the back straight which is different for every driver and every car.

Sharkrider with RARB can eat it alive, myself without it was struggling like hell and I had to resort to taking "karting lines" through there

Blyton has "banzai esses" (my name) at the end of the longer of back straights which can shave large amount of speed on exit if not taken in a specific way.

 

I am sure CC has its own quirks for me to discover on my own no doubt. 

Problem is the sessions are 2 x 15 mins so not much time to learn - a challenge!

I've done a full open pit lane day at Combe and still don't know the right way to do Quarry  Don't worry about it, just drive within yourself and don't worry about anyone else either.  Philosophy I take to all track type activity.

I have not had any official confirmation of this yet and my CC has not been debited, has anyone had the CC charged and Email confirmation yet.

 

Excuse my paranoia but still not had CC debited and there is only a couple of weeks to go, tried ringing but no one answered the phone, is this still on as I thought they took the money 4 weeks before the date. 

I've done it few times and never had a problem, don't worry, patience my young Padawan

I got this reply back from them.  I think they think we have 6 more people to book on!

What's making me hesitant is:

 - I've never done any track type stuff before

 - My Yeti is pretty much stock (aside from Yellowstuff front pads, and hopefully a Stage 1 map if my STS turns up beforehand)

 - I worry about damaging the car 

...so I'd probably be pretty slow !

Just bring it in, no matter how fast you are going it is great fun and you have to start somewhere

The first year I just had a stock Yeti with a remap.

Still good fun and a good taster as it's just for a few hours.
