thanks.   :blush:   I am very pleased with it. the aqua wax really was easy to use and made go POP!  Very very satisfying...i cant stop admiring it!  kinda don't want to get it wet but i do as i want to see how it beads.....so i can photo those too  :D

forgot to say, wheels coated with some old liquid wax that i'm using up....its bright green, turns your hands Hulk like when you use it, its 'coronation street' branded (it was a Christmas present years ago), but it actually seems to protect the wheels quite well, dirt just wipes off.

I hopped around the team bus today to give it its first quick wash. Paint is a bit of a mess but popped a layer of Sonax Brilliant Wax 1 on it for a smidgen of protection.

Plenty of room for improvement!

VERY nice Niel, a lovely motor... don't leave it under those trees for too long though ... :)

Alan.

Thanks Alan. It is certainly a lot of car. I think it has lived it's whole life under a tree. Nothing that a good claying won't rectify!!

Thanks Ste. Definitely suits me now I'm back into my waxes again.

Gtechniq new products so far are looking very good. They're two spray sealants which are just sprayed onto the panel and buffed off. Really pleased to be involved in the initial testing.

Had to get my detailing fix now my car is more or less untouchable apart from a maintenance wash every week.

Did SWMBO's dads Mini JCW again in my old favourite ArtDeShine ArtDeSicko...

The colour is called Biscay Blue in the VW range. I think its classed as a pearlescent finish.

As the pics show - in certain light and angles it looks like a more plain deep glossy blue;

switch into a direct sunlight at the right angle - the flake pop is pretty stunning :rock:
