  • this is my first 'big' bike and I'm loving it!! Passed my test about 4 weeks ago but only picked this up a week or so ago   It's a 99' SRAD so it's pretty old but in fairly good condition for its ag

  • Mine - made a few changes since this picture it's now got short Asv levers and mirror blanking plates. Did around 100 miles last year :/

  • Just finished and ready for a proper shake down run today I hope.   Black not common on Ariels but it is easy to paint each bit with what you have and have it match.

Theres only you left...

You wont take me alive.....anything under 1000cc is a scooter....noooooooooooo...

How are the brakes?

The brakes on my Mk 1 busa were a little... disappointing

Better with the Brembo's, but not massively better.. I've had 4 Busa's over the last 10 years and not really found the brakes an issue, but I did put Bendix RR pads in the 2 mk1's which did make a difference..

I guess the Busa isn't everyone's cup of tea style-wise, but for a bike to put a smile on your face when the throttle is pinned, takes some beating.. Nail it in any gear, any speed, single or 2 up its guaranteed to make you grin...

The first few weeks I had mine, I found myself giggling like an idiot every time I opened the throttle.

Haha, yes, I've never been a huge fan of IL4...

Which is ironic, given that I've just bought an Octavia vRS :D

Bit of an eclectic mix there and nothing I would have considered for myself to be fair but that is what makes bikes so good I think.  We all have different tastes and as a general rule there is something out there for us all.  It is good to have folk on here that don't ride BMW!!! :D

Took me a while to find the right bike :D

To be honest my perfect garage would have the RC8, the Adventure, and the SMR in it, but reality limits me to one at a time :)

The only factor that links my favourite bikes is the manufacturer, can't see myself buying anything but another KTM unless they do something silly...
