This little lot removed from fuse panel from redundant systems so no 12v feeds running where they shouldn't be now,

And plenty of spare fuses too :)

Indeed :)

How would you open the door from the inside should you have to?  Curious?   I am thinking of doing something to mine where I jam the glass up, remove pretty much all the door gubbins but something inside my head says I would want to leave the cable that usually goes to the interior door handle.

Maybe it's just inside the door still in your setup? :)

I've left it unlocked so can be opened from outside, as it's a requirement for mot, never going to need to open from inside. Once mot's done there be locked up, you could if you wanted too swap linkage and interior handle over to the flat panel with some well placed screws and holes, but I don't need it, if ever I needed to be in back I can access through boot

Hex head haters...haha

If you want sleek there are some short stainless flanged round heads, with internal allen hex on the Bay of e? (291428026343)

I used the above with rivnuts, so double check your size. The round heads would probably better for the front doors depending on what you do, as then there's no sharp edges to catch anything on...

Do the doors still need to open the rear passenger doors if you have no rear seats? Get it classed as a van and say the handles on the outside are just there for show :)

it states in the mot guidelines that passenger doors must open and close, no meantioning if there are no seats or open from inside

Doubt its still a passenger door if there are no seats :) Worth asking when you go in to safe your self the faff next time.

Good point, I'm just waiting for my number plate paperwork back so should be mot'd in the next week or so,

I think the only way to get around the rear doors thing would be to have them welded up and paint over so there literally appears to be no doors.

However, even though I have no back seats (and now can't even fit them if I wanted to....) I still like side door access.  My doblo van is the same.  Love the fact it has sliding doors on each side.

I did read that somewhere with regards to having to weld the doors up like a van, tbh it doesn't bother me having no rear access, I could always get front seats out of a 3door Ibiza/polo that tilt :)

And it only takes 10mins a side at most to make them open again come mot time

It doesnt open and close though. It does from outside, but how would someone get out? Maybe with no seats and a noce MOT man it's not an issue but it should fail like it is with no handles.

In that car you won't need handles, you'll need a flipping rollercoaster harness ;)

There are no rear seats, so no rear passengers, therefore not testable as 'passenger doors'. Leave them locked for the MOT. :)
