Will do. I don't have the tools for correct timing (presume theres a couple of pins/locker for it to be done properly?) also the engine is under about 70 bits of interior trim [emoji23]

If it was running fine it just needs marking up and new belt fitting back in same place, then 6-10mm gap on tensioner

Just watched a youtube vid - looks easy. haha

Do it while the engine is out, much easier.

Even if you don't mark the belt its not hard to reset the timing - made more difficult by the cramped bay but still doable.

Had to do mine several times now! :(

Just picked the kit up this morn, it was a ina one, still got £30 off it and a free water pump :) can't be bad

Yeah i'm going to do it whilst i have the engine out.

At what point should i start a project thread? haha

I just keep re-reading all the 1.8t threads. Just front subframe to take off and Ibiza can go :D

Or polished to much black may "dull" the engine bay a little too much. All down to Trevor taste now. :)

Tarty nonsense :P

Another pointless mod which I doubt anyone will notice, tucked the injector wiring loom under inlet manifold :) means I can polish the fuel rail haha

Is there such a thing as too much green?

Never to much green ;) maybe paint the outer rim green and the inner gloss black?
