Good day today 1/4mile racing, Fabia performed great all day, did around 10runs, won the volksstock class as I was the only one in it lol,

Set a new pb of 14.48secs @ 98.89mph not bad at all

14.9 was my qualifying time

Scratch what I said, realised I won't be able to make it now

Did some stuff today, got rid of the remains of the glue in the roof from removing the insulation,

Removed rear bumper as I wanted to paint a bit more of the diffuser ,as I can sometimes see unpainted bits where I couldn't quite get the brush in when I painted it with the bumper on. Also gave the crash bar a quick coat, and removed another 1kg off bootlid

Also handily found the n/r light unit had started to melt where a bulb had gone, so new unit and bulbs on there way

Quite a lot of meat on that crash bar :P As you're not using it as a daily and won't have rear passengers can't it be chopped up? (would have said removed but your appendage is attached to it).

Started prep for Elsecar at the weekend, whole car clayed, mer wax, then went other with meguiars quick wax too, looks great from a distance lol up close is another story, also refitted bumper, put non facelift lights back in, new osram diagem indicator bulbs and removed the sound deadening on the inner arch
