I won best skoda at elsecar about 8 year ago by default too,simon said he couldn't put his green estate in the show and shine as he runs the show so I won just for entering lol

Did the clutch today, fitted a single mass kit from Ecs tuning as it comes with a slightly lighter flywheel then the others 6.35kg,

Also picked up a front rad panel and Ibiza front crash bar as its a lot slimmer and don't need trimming when its fmic time

The input shaft won't go in so the gearbox won't go on.

You can do it by eye or fluke. Alignment tool just saves the potential struggle.

It was still a struggle haha

Made a start on rerouting the power cable to inside the car, I didn't like it routed under the car like it was, so got it into the cabin and tidied up in the engine bay, also mounted the rad up to the surround now I got some of the rubber mounts, got the wrong fan switch though so not able to continue tonight,

Got a eBay bargain a bjx inlet manifold already black for £15 lol, paintworks pretty good too, just going to wait a few weeks then get new gaskets and fit it, also need to decide a colour for the front slam panel I have spare, I don't know wether to go red hmmm, it will be seen through the grill that's all I'm worried about

Dunno might play it safe and go black

Toying with a couple of different things for front end, namely the holes where number plate was, I kinda like the 2nd one, there both only rough to see how it looked until I decide on design, obviously the vent will go black too

Why not go show spec and just cable tie the plate on and remove it for shows  

There's not really anything to cable tie it too, the grills too low down

If I carry another trim round I can swap them over for shows

All the holes in everything 

Went for a quick blast in mine last night, mine sounds mental. Wish i could give it some beans but gonne get some miles on clutch first.
