When are you going to stop ninnying around and put this on a track?

I doubt it'll last with standard brakes lol, it will need too much more throwing at it to make it trackable, that's why drag racings more viable can get away with near standard suspension and brakes

Nothing stopping you having a test day though, just to see.

Maybe next year

It may be the angle but it looks like the cage is welded directly to the wheel arch (so spreader plate between them)?

This may cause issues if you intend to use it for motorsport.

‘Home welded’ cages can also draw attention from the scrutineers as they will have no idea if the welds are up to standard.

If you haven’t already then I would fit a cover over the positive battery terminal as well.

That said it does look nice.

I know for regulated events it's not up to scratch but it's fine for what I do, cheers for advice

Drag racing today :) performed great as normal did eight runs, I couldn't get near my pb but was consistently 14.5 with a 14.27 best, I think the extra maybe 30kg of cage and passenger seat and near full tank in it has taken effect

Chop it out [emoji23][emoji23]

My results from yesterday, had a couple of high 14's where I mucked up a gear change, and the other was too much throttle of the start line, pretty consistent around 14.5 though
