Just been on the phone to Le Car Centre and have confirmed delivery of my Furby vRS to me for the morning of Saturday 4th October!

Sorted the insurance out now too. 45 notes extra for remaining 5 months. Not as bad as I thought.

This week is gonna go by so so slowly now. I CAN'T WAIT!!! :1:

Bet you can't wait. Out of interest ay TDi owners test drove one of these yet? I've been away and might have skipped any 'review' of it as I couldn't be bothered with 3,500 posts.

Graeme - I thought you were going to wait until the 04 reg came out but obviously the allure of a diesel powered car was too great.

edit: BTW - Not been able to test a vRS yet as a TDI owner. Not been contacted by my dealer yet, but there's now NO way I'm getting one - I'm sticking to modding my car now.

i'm waiting here, every day going sooo slowly, till i pick up my 2nd RS octy next tuesday.

have pretty much decided will be getting a furby ( love that word! ) Vrs for the missus next may or thereabouts.

Was thinking that I may wait till the 04 comes out, but with the winter drawing in, I need a more fuel efficient car, so the diesel it is. The extra power and especially the torque are just an added bonus!

Plus I am the proud owner of the first Yellow vRS with Xenon headlights in the country! :p

Another very impressed test driver. Everyone seems to like them! I really am looking forward to next week now!

Waiting will be like Zeno's arrow! 1st 2 days to go, then 1 day, then 12 hrs, 6, 3, 90mins, 45, 22.5 .... 1sec, 0.5sec -> infinity.

Thats a good review even if the pictures are crap because they were taken on a phone. What made me laugh was the comments made by other Seat owners. ie- But personally, im not sold, the problems being the badge, depreciation would be high, and the main one for me which is its a 5 door, far to 'family' for me!!

The 5-door thing is acceptable, the depreciation one is curious the Octy vRS doesn't depriciate badly and they do as well as Seats but the badge thing made me laugh esp since it came from the owner a car whose manufacture made Fiat cast off's! Anybody remember the Marabella?

Good review indeed - but I reckon my TDI is already up to vRS handling quality, with the fettled wheels & suspension, I just need to get that damn engine whacking out some more horses! Perhaps after that I can look into spoiler / body work, but that's only if I'm feeling very frivolous.
