I know one car on here arrived at the dealer within 1 week from production.

 

Pot luck when it reaches the port though, if there is room on the boat then they will ship it.

 

I know others have waited nearly a whole month just for the car to get on a boat!

Just been told mine is now unconfirmed at build week 46 so seems things are moving around a bit. From week 5 this morning.

Ordered an Petrol SE-L on saturday and have been this evening informed that it is a week 50 build date, so I will assume delivery early in new year??. Pity it would have been good for it to be sitting in the drive with in law comes room with his X5

Which petrol did you go for ?

1.4TSI 150, the book is show that it has the same performance as the 170 CR Diesel I just sold and that was fast. So it will be my first petrol in 16 years, but looking forward to it. The book is also showing more MPG they my 170cr diesel.

Oh, interestingly, I can't work out whether or not the SEL Exec comes with boarding spots (under the side mirrors that light the floor), or if it's only the L&K that gets those?

Or does the L&K get them in LED (part of the exterior LED package) where the SEL may have them but just with halogen bulbs etc?

SE L Has boarding spots. Not sure if they are upgraded with the L&K

Hi Nick when did you place your order? and how long did it take to get a production date. Ordered my SEL exec 1.4 act two weeks ago and still no production date from the dealership.

After a school boy error I have now amended my order to include the multi-function steering wheel with paddles with my DSG (it was standard on my DSG blackline and I wrongly assumed it would come as standard with DSG).

 

I have made so many changes; that in the in words of the sales chap at Mitchells "You have become a little famous with the girls in admin for the most amendments to a build ever – but they all agree that you’ve chosen very well"

 

I'm not sure if I'm proud of that achievement or embarrassed. At least it is now fully spec'd to what I want and the build week so far hasn't changed from 46.

Hi Woody. Ordered on 24th August and had an immediate unconfirmed build week of 41 on the dealers system that day. It changed to build week 39 a week or so later.

Thanks Nick, I will give my dealership a poke and see what they have to say. no communications from them in two weeks, very frustrating, I don't mind waiting its all part of building the excitement. Just as long as I have a clue of how long its going to be.

Yeah no comms is frustrating.... Steve at Rainworth showed me the week 41 on the screen 2 minutes after the order was placed !

I think my motor maybe on the Wesser Highway which is currently waiting  just outside Grimsby and due to dock at 17:00 :-)

So the order I placed for Superb Estate SE Business at end of August finally has some additional info; unconfirmed build week 48 with revised delivery estimate for Mid December - which sadly means it looks like I'm going to get the revised Helios alloys. Pants. 

 

Dealer still suggests being optimistic as build could come forward as ordering system starts to settle down, but I don't hold out much hope.

My week 38 order is supposedly at UK docks awaiting shipment to the dealer. Hope to have it by next week.

Just been told that my car is due to be built in week 50 but it might move froward or backwards so probably not going to get it before Christmas, but on the plus side its not going to be march next year either. Ordered end of week 38 so 12- 14 weeks lead time hopefully. not too bad.
