Or they've fitted the SE wheel option? As said, I've not heard anything from my dealer regarding the wheels, which may suggest the supply issue was solved before they ever called me?

What colour did you order? I've gone Quartz Grey.

They've confirmed its with the stratos wheels. I refused the Helios/Zeus option. I've gone for black.

 

Spec below was ordered on 6th August - with build week 40 (not confirmed).

 

Today, status has changed from "With Production Week (Status 10)" to "With Production Order (20)" and CONFIRMED WEEK: 2015/40 

 

So all on track for build starting next week - time to get those accessories in....

Update: Build completed by Monday 5th October, care is en-route to the German port of Emden where it will be checked (could take up to 10 days according to Skoda CS but I hope not!)

Ordered a Superb Hatch SE Business 2.0 TDI 150ps on August 10th - received "Status 40 UK port" update today. Due to be uplifted tomorrow for onward shipment to Norn Iron. Should hopefully be in my possession within the next 10 days, finger crossed.

Will be interesting to hear how the 150tdi compares to the current 170tdi in real world performance. I'd consider the 150tdi next time as a replacement for my 170 as on paper the torque difference is only 340nm versus 350 mm and the new model is slightly lighter too.

Ooo. Sudden change to Week 49 today on my SEL Exec 1.4 TSI. Any other 1.4 TSI orderers had this change as I know a few of us were all on Week 50 before?

I ordered a L&K 150 DSG Estate with Pan Roof and a few other bits on 19th September and just been told that it is due to be built in week 44. So still should get it for Christmas  :clap:

Kronik, just as a heads up... Without the "Smart Light Assist" pack (costing £850 on the SEL, or £100 on the L&K), you will only have the single line DRL LED stripe.. As opposed to the 7 "eyelash" style LED strips in each Headlight cluster.

Considering you spoke so highly of the lights, just wanted to mention this in case you didn't know!

Did you actually see the Petrol Blue in real life?

The reason I ask is that it was my first choice, but it is so different to what it looks like in the brochure. When I saw it I ended up ordering Moon White, my second choice.

So Skoda are no longer replying to DMs on Twitter regarding my build week...

Lease company are still under the impression that it's week 41. Skoda's last communication said it had been pushed back to 50. Now I can't get Skoda to respond on Twitter and can't get through on phone...

Just managed to get an update from SUK that our (still unconfirmed) build date has slipped from wk 43 to 46 :(

It's still looking better than the Octy in 2001 though!

Another burst of that hold music (where do companies find these recordings?) and got a confirmed build week 45. Should get it by Christmas

Car will be at Dealers on Monday :-) Probably go for Saturday pickup. May get over to get a pic before then.
