      Went to the supermarket while I waited for traffic to die down a bit. Second supermarket car park of the evening. Terrible pic, it was getting dark The drive home was uneventful. L

      Wento for a quick trip to the petrol station. Got sidetracked. I am loving this car! It sounds like it's gargling on the fuel not just drinking it, what an awesome sound!

    OOops, I managed to delete B33fy's reply when I meant to quote it. That was a little too easy to do on mobile, sorry mate.

    Nice job on the wheels Rob, what about the Audi logo for the centre caps.

     

    I considered the Audi logo but I can only find black wheel centre decals and I think the silver looks better.

     

    I do have an idea though, I've contacted Pastyboy about some custom badges...

    I called in to visit again Saturday morning and make some non-too-subtle comments that it's about time it was done, and five days is plenty of time to finish it off, isn't it? etc :)

    Will talk to them mid week also.

    Just spoke to them and they have two people doing things on it now.

    I said "So it'll be finished by the end of the week won't it?"

    She said "Probably, I don't see why not"

    That's as close to a commitment as I could get :D

    Paint and clear will be done tomorrow, then it's a wait over the long weekend before they can get the windows back in, bumpers fitted etc. Excite.

    Apparently it's ready apart from a final cut and polish. But it's going to rain for the next two days so I can't get it transported home until next week. Once again, pics have been promised. But I think I'll be visiting it for a look on Saturday morning :)

    I expect to see a transfer/decal of a baby Kiwi on it's rump eventually :)
