I would have loved to have been the new Michelle and I did have a Quattro of sorts a few ears ago (proper 4x4 at least,not a Haldex)

I spent a day last week in a restored Esprit S1 They say don't meet your heroes, that's utter rubbish with my recent experience. Fab car, and has to be one of the best looking of all time. Mind you, a few of the electricals failed in the rain

Dropped the Skoda off today for the stone-shipped side panels sorting out and had a quick look at the Audi

Phew, they sold before I could think too hard about them.

A mate has some similar 17" BBS RS for sale which could be made to fit. But I think 17s would probably look too big.

Okay - 17s are out - they'll just make it look wrong. The stock 15s are perfect.

 

I am thinking about private plates again - partly because you can get a smaller format plate which will look nicer on the front - it's only 100mm tall rather than 125
