Do you ever worry that you will forget how it all goes back together again :D

One day you will have to start a new thread with a mega first post showing the whole process (with pictures) in one huge orgy of Rust to Redemption :)

Parts are available from Germany but the cost is high. 2500 Euro for a rear quarter, 2000 for a roof, a pillars 250 ish etc. Then add large item shipping to NZ.

Then they would need some modification to fit.

A "body in white" is a complete shell less closures and bumpers, in primer or undercoat. So in your case all the steelwork including arch extensions except doors, bonnet and boot lid.

Ah right, didn't know that term. I doubt they're available for a car that stopped production in 1991. And would it still be the same car then? :)

Plus I suspect cost would be prohibitive in NZ.

I only realised that you didn't know the term when you started talking about repair panels. As to shipping costs, it would fit in a 20' ISO box, and Bossfox probably has a clearer handle on costs for shipping one of those "slow" time than anyone else we know.
