VCDS options on Superb III

Recommended Posts

I have done all three on a MY17 car.

Deactivation of Start-Stop did you use STG 08-HVAC? Is better solution like changing Start_stop_voltage_limit to 12,1V ?

For "Activating alarms chirps locking/unlocking" did you use STG 16 31347 - adaptations? I can change it to active, but no option to turn the alarm chirps in the infotainment.

mtl:  Enabling DRLs menu - clone vcds

Thought so. There is your problem.

Using latest genuine VCDS version will fix it.

PS: Kudos for using clones on MY2017 cars. You have guts ;).

How is it handled in this forum? In germany, we didn`t help someone, with a clone vcds. I like that handling

I usually do not answer to those who have clone VCDS...

Does anyone activated Traffic Sign Recognition on MY2017 model?

I tried on the new Sportline, but it seems that A5 module is completely different, in case of coding as well:

I've had that same module (F) on a Superb MY2017 and on Passat MY2017. I haven't coded TSR, because they were factory fitted with it, but TSR coding on both cars was the same as in MY2016 cars.

When I hook up my bike carrier the rear sensors and blind spot monitoring are de-activated and have to be manually activated when the tow bar is stowed.

Can these functions be activated automatically via VCDS?

What am I doing wrong Coops?

Not sure Phil.

My towbar was retrofitted but fully coded on installation. When I use my towbar (detachable), I just connect my bike carrier lighting board to the socket and the rear sensors automatically disable themselves. When finished I disconnect and doing nothing else - they just come back on.

Simple Question. Does anybod found the solution for the following behaviour of DRL lights, depends os light switch position:

0 - DRL off, low beam off

Auto - DRL or low beam ON, depends on light sensor

Parking - parking lights ON (no change here)

Low Beam - Low Beam ON (no change here).

I'm sure I saw it in Superb 2 coding, but cannot find it in MK3.

Locking the car while the engine is running can be enabled by going to Central Electronics adaptations and enabling:

Access control-Funk bei Klemme 15 ein.

This is very useful when wanting to defrost the car, especially for KESSY enabled cars as a second key is not needed for locking the doors.

Apologies if this is already addressed in the thread - I've read through it but am not completely sure so...

I'll be receiving a Superb SE Tech (150 diesel, manual, estate) around Feb / March (no build date yet) - so a MY17 I assume (or could it be MY17.5 ?)

Have added TSR as an option (and Colour maxi dot) - so with that in mind what are the key (best) features that I should be able to enable?

Thanks in advance!

Following on from Mon55's question....

If I was to order my Superb with TSR and therefore having a forward facing camera, can high beam assist be enabled via VCDS? Can someone please confirm this change is possible with VCDS coding.

I'm not fussed about lane assist as I have that now and never use it but I use the high beam assist quite a lot.

Thanks!

It should be possible to activate Light Assist.
