Carbonio Intake System - Octavia Mk2 FL 1.8TSI and 2.0TSI - SOLD

Featured Replies

I have a Carbonio Cold Air intake for sale. £60 + posting (selling new on AwesomeGTI for £313)

This was bought from another member 3 years ago, so I believe this is about 4 years old.

relatively easy to fit... I consider this a more visual upgrade than a performance enhancement but this is the info from their website

Details

Carbonio's latest carbon fiber intake for the 2.0 & 1.8 TSI engine is a truly race engineered ram air design that is available for the first time as an affordable street car intake system. Building from years of experience on and off the race track, Carbonio's and APR's engineering teams have spent countless hours developing a true cold air and ram air carbon fiber design that can be recreated affordably for the street performance enthusiast.

  • Increased Horsepower and Torque
  • Reduced Intake Air Temperatures
  • Increased Air Velocity
  • Smoother Transitional Airflow
  • Increased Throttle Response
  • Reduced Turbocharger Spool Time

Does this contain a filter element or is it empty?

There is a pipercross cone filter inside. This has not been removed, I also believe its non serviceable?

The cone filters are serviceable.  I have the same system.

the internal Diameter of the flexi joint is 3 ins

What sort of condition is this in? May well be interested in this. Assume all the required parts are present and correct?

Also, I see there is an extra jubilee clip on the intake pipe, is there a reason for that?

TIA.

Ignore all of the above. I've been dim! I now realise this is for the TSI not the TFSI.

My apologies and good luck with the sale.
