Problem with bluetooth music/audio on Swing radio

Featured Replies

Hi, I am struggling with an annoying bluetooth issue on my Swing radio: My mobile (LG L4) connects without issues to the radio via bluetooth and voice calls + contact list on screen works like a charm. Trouble sets in, whenever I want to play music/audio via the bluetooth connection. I have tried to stream audio with Spotify, Youtube and a video located on my phone. For all three cases the result is the same: The audio plays for 2-3 seconds, then it stops. If I then press pause/play the problem simply repeats itself.

Is this an issue any of you have had? Any suggestions to work around this issue are most welcome!

Some additional background info: My phone runs Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) and the Swing radio I have just updated with the latest bluetooth drivers from Skoda. My car has been assembled October 2015.

Update to this issue: The problem has been resolved a few days ago, although I do not know exactly what has fixed it! My phone unfortunately went into an unfixable boot loop two weeks ago, so it had to be repaired. The phone came back a few days ago with a new motherboard and in factory reset condition. I do not know for sure if the repair workshop has updated it with newer firmware/software than it had before. In any case my phone all of a sudden is now able to comunitcate flawlessly with the Swing radio over the A2DP protocol. I am naturally very happy for this 'bonus' feature which my phone came back with from repair.

Great news! Enjoy the music :D
