The soundaktor can be much quieter when in individual mode by selecting "ECO" for the artificial engine noise, & as for the 

guy's driving, how fast do you want to drive on wet & unfamiliar roads? 

 

I like to see a white line in the middle before hooning but I'd prefer an empty autobahn.......

Do genuinely like the R so was following it for a while with interest. 

 

I just get more and more disappointed with the less than impressive content though.

I like the fact the only reason for the video in the first place is that the VW dealership bashed his 3dr Golf R while it was in for a service......so they lent him a 5dr......

Why TR Hamza prefers the Facelifted Sept 2016 /2017  S3 model 306bhp ,compared to the Golf R mk7.Prior to the R mk7.5 facelift launch in early  2017

 

Another Facelifted S3 owner's comment. Living with the new model.

What will R Mk 7.5 be like in comparison. I would have the manual anyway! Don't need launch control boyracer mode or heavy traffic use.

A 15.37 second 1/4 mile,  really.

I seem to remember Furbytom took a standard 180ps (132 kW) minimum Mk2 Fabia Estate up Santa Pod 1/4 mile and had a 15.2 seconds and there were quicker hatches than that there.

George, in the communication along with the video,a guy from the US that he was achieving 4.6sec and 13.00sec for 1/4 mile.

He also mentioned the altitude level.

The above spec comes in at just under £40k according to my source, VW don't like them going above that figure, for whatever reason.

 

No knowledge yet of attractive finance deals available. Might see that when configuration operating on UK website I guess.
