When looking at the prices, the 230 is a good value with the extra kit and the Diff which swung it for me.

      No. I got the 230 for the diff and financially it made sense based on the other kit you get thrown in vs a 220. Spec a 220 with to match a 230 and it'll cost you more. The additional 10bhp was irrelev

    Count me in for vrs 230 in meteor grey. Not sure on build date, but I am collecting 1st September. Think it's due to be ready on week 30?

    Ooh so nearly, looked round a meteor grey estate with pano roof,electric tailgate today , a 16plate managers demo but they wouldnt budge on price even tho through help on here i proved i could get a brand spankers one 4k cheaper

    Super. Will be borrowing one soon for a week. 5 days in Scotland should get us some good info and feedback. But nothing as good as long term ownership and feelings. How the diff works from day to day, wet/dry etc.

     

    Any questions or things you'd like covering, let me know and I'll bake it into the scripts.

    I like a nice tidy engine bay and for looks I think it' needs one.

     

    Do you think it will increase engine running temperatures or is it purly cosmetic.

     

    The one under the bonnet of my MKIII Tdi Vrs might just go missing    :notme:

    You can buy the under bonnet insulation quite cheap. I think it cost around 40€ at superskoda.

    It's even cheaper if it comes off the MKIII Tdi Vrs I'm trading in

    You could also remove it before you trade it in and just give it to me ;-)

    No risk of fire is there? Maybe that's why its not fitted?

     

    Depending how close the turbo is to the bonnet, the insulation might catch fire after a hi speed run.
