  • I'm in! Erik, similar layout to last years tyre'd goat stages at three sisters?

  • I'm not entering, so no ambulance sorry - need to get this throttle body problem sorted once and for all. May try and get down at some point during the day tho.

  • lol for those who don't know what m&s really stands for, its short for mud & snow (or big knobbley tyres) si

(sorry mate, just had to say that) :ignore:

Count me in! :D I'll try to drive something a litlle more "suitable" this time, rather than the luxo-barge of this year. Actually, anything would be more suitable, provided its length was actually smaller than the gaps in the cones this time

Yay, more handbrakes :D

But Si, at least he'll have enough torque to pull the skin off a rice pudding :D

bla, bla, bla

I think i will have to run the pug 205 next year to prove that it's all about the driver, rather that the car.

si

will be no match for the 550.

Engine

12 cylinders in 65

IIRC... i came in ahead of those pugs too ;)

And lets not mention about that small factor of TORQUE shall we? 340lb/ft enough?

car 13 Simon Horton Subaru Imprezza T D 1106 1st

car 11 Gareth Roberts Citroen Saxo VTR B 1111 2nd

car 6 Andrew D Freitas VW Golf Gti C 1114 3rd

car 10 Richard Horton Peugeot 205 GTi B 1123 4th

car 13 Simon Horton Subaru Imprezza T D 1106 1st <--- 310bhp

car 11 Gareth Roberts Citroen Saxo VTR B 1111 2nd <-- 110bhp and weighs as much as a empty crisp packet

car 6 Andrew D Freitas VW Golf Gti C 1114 3rd <----- 220bhp

car 10 Richard Horton Peugeot 205 GTi B 1123 4th <---- lightweight.. stripped out and powerful. (you fill in the figures)

car 17 Colin Graham Skoda Fabia E 1164 5th <---- 130bhp and 1250kg (naff tyres)

:ukliam:

Considering the opposition.. i either did very well, or everyone else did badly ;)

car 7 Jon French Rover 75 C 1177 7th <--- 118 bhp, 1480KG and a turning circle marginally smaller than that of the QEII

:p

:p

my pug only has about 120bhp (stock hatch class limits mods) but it is about as heavy as a crisp packet (acturally weights about 760kg) :D

"You spin me right round baby

Right round like a record baby....."

colin. i am beginning to wonder if you are doubting my sincerity?

Lol.. I think your doubting mine...

Said Lotus is currently in storage after the owner got banned for 6 months for "racing" a 355 thru london.. the lotus is actually quicker than the 355, but less reliable than one of your TVRs... come to think of it. dont think it would pass the noise regs :(

I may be up for this then! Yet another diesel Furby with 190+ brake and 340ish lb ft of torque. :p

I see this could be a great challenge and some good fun too! Just a shame we can't use go karts! (Jon should understand!) :D

No no no no, no! :D

So who is going to be challenging the SEAT, Audi and VW drivers ~ a Subaru, 205, 550 and a Rover barge (:D) aren't going to represent Skoda too well.....

I guess the diesel class should be wrapped up though :dtp:

Sorry no go-karts, the Mini that did 2 tests was bad enough...... ;)

I MUST.. go gokarting @ 3 sisters sometime... the track is cool in cars, must be even better for karts :)
